Roommate's Share is a simple expense-sharing app for roommates, mess and hostel members. Create or join a room, record shared expenses, track balances and prepare monthly summaries from one place.
Open the App How It WorksAfter logging in to the web app, open the three-dot menu in the navbar. To Create a Room Click Create Room ID. Select the Roommate Role. Share the generated Room ID with the roommate you want to invite. To Join a Room Click the shared Room ID to open the app. After entering the app, open the three-line menu in the navbar. Click Add Room ID. The shared Room ID will appear automatically. Click Join Room to join the room.
Add daily expenses by date. See how much each roommate spent. Add advance payments and track the total expenses for the entire month. View the daily expense amount. At the end of the month, see each roommate’s per-head share of the total expenses.
Review each roommate's advance, expenses, per-head share and balance See how much each roommate needs to receive and how much each roommate needs to pay. so everyone can understand the current account.
Filter records by month and year and prepare a clear full month summary that can be printed or shared full month records with your roommates.
The app interface supports English, Bengali and Hindi so roommates can use the system more comfortably.
Sign in with your Google account to access your room data and use the expense management features.

Follow these simple steps to add a new roommate.
Select the date from which the roommate joined.
Enter the roommate's name.
Enter the advance cash amount if the roommate has given any advance.
Click the Add Roommate button to save the roommate.

i) Total Monthly Expenses ÷ Total Active Days = Per Day Expense
ii) (Advance + Total Spend) - (Active Days × Per Day Rate) = Actual Net Pending Balance
iii) To Get Amount = Sum of all other Roommates' Give (Due) Amounts.
iv) Roommates can be marked as Active or Inactive based on their current status.
v) The Room Owner can Hide or Show a Roommate whenever needed.
